Symptom(s):
- Warning during Setup about other mouse software
- Warning: "If you have special mouse software, some features of the Intel® mouse may not work. To prevent conflicts, remove the other device software from your computer. For more information, refer to the documentation for your device or computer."
Solution:
This warning appears during Setup. The types of conflicts you may encounter if you choose to leave the other manufacturer's mouse software installed include the scroll wheel does not work or invalid settings tabs appear in mouse properties.
It is best to uninstall the 3rd party mouse software to eliminate conflicts. Refer to the documentation that came with the other mouse if you need assistance in uninstalling it.
