Symptom(s):
- Errors when opening the Intel® Wireless Series Control Panel.
- Error: "Run-time error 53"
- Error: "File not Found: C:\Program Files\Intel\Peripherals\MainC.ppo"
- Error: "File not Found: C:\Program Files\Intel\Peripherals\AboutC.ppo"
- Error: "File not Found: C:\Program Files\Intel\Peripherals\MainW.ppo"
- Error: "File not Found: C:\Program Files\Intel\Peripherals\AboutW.ppo"
Cause:
The file(s) needed for the Intel® Wireless Series Control Panel are missing or corrupt.
Solution:
Try the following to resolve this problem:
1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
2. Remove each Intel® Wireless Series item found. To remove an item, highlight it and then click Add/Remove.
3. Reinstall the Intel® Wireless Series software as indicated in the Installation Guide
