General Compatibility

  • It has been determined that the Compaq Deskpro* XL 5-90 and the Shuttle 539 motherboards are incompatible with the Intel® Pentium® OverDrive Processor with MMX™ Technology.
  • The NEC 7020, 7022, 7024 and 7510 systems are not compatible with the Intel Pentium® OverDrive® Processor with MMX™ Technology.
  • The Quantex 5/90MHz system using the Gigabyte GA586ip motherboard is incompatible with the Intel® Pentium® OverDrive® Processor with MMX™ Technology.

Warning: Plugging the 200 Mhz OverDrive processor into a Socket 5 that does not meet the Socket 7 specifications may damage your system!
