The Boxed Intel® Pentium® 4 processor 6xx Sequence with Hyper-Threading Technology introduces five new processor numbers that contain the following features.
- New processor numbers that include the 630, 640, 650, 660 and 670 in both ATX-compatible and BTX-compatible versions
- Introduces a 2 MB level 2 cache
- Introduces the Enhanced Intel® Speedstep® Technology (EIST) on desktop processors
- Introduces Intel® Extended Memory 64 Technology (Intel 64) on desktop processors
- Features support for Hyper-Threading Technology and Execute Disable Bit
