Intel® Pentium® III Xeon® Processor
How is a workstation different from a high-end PC?

While high-end desktop PCs are capable of running certain workstation applications, they typically do not have the processing power or platform scalability required for many of these applications. A real mid-range or higher workstation typically includes dual processing capability using a high speed processor; large memory storage of at least 1GB and preferably 2GB; scalable high performance storage capability and a high-end monitor and graphics. These features allow the system to run a wide variety of specialized applications required by workstation customers.
