The Intel® Viiv™ Technology Test Utility will return a failure condition for the LAN if the system does not contain one of the following adapters, or if the adapter is not enabled:
- Intel® PRO/1000 PM Network Connection
- Intel® PRO/100 VE or VM Network Connection
If the network adapter installed in the system is on the list above, but is not enabled in the operating system, the test utility will return a failure condition. Enabling the adapter is a function of the operating system. For assistance, refer to the operating system's network connection help file.
If the network adapter in your system is not on the list, or is different from what is listed on the bill-of-sale, contact your place of purchase or the system manufacturer for assistance.
