Error/Issue
The power button on the Intel® Viiv™ technology-based∇
PC no longer instantly turns the monitor and audio off.
Reason
Possible reasons are:
- Power button options are not set to “do nothing”
- Away mode is disabled in the BIOS
Solution
To use this feature, first reset the Intel® Quick Resume Technology Driver defaults.
If that does not fix the problem, try reinstalling the driver.
Note: Check with your manufacturer before installing this driver to verify if a customized driver is available.
If the problem is not resolved, contact your computer manufacturer or Intel Customer Support.
