If you installed Windows Vista* using the clean install ^† option, you should manually update the Intel® Quick Resume Technology Driver. This driver update prevents the “New Hardware Found” message window from displaying. 

In Windows Update,

1. Select View available updates (text is under the Install updates button).
2. Select Intel-Other Hardware-Intel Quick Resume Technology Driver update.
3. Complete the installation instructions.

Note: Power options in Windows Vista does not use Intel Quick Resume Technology. To change or set your power options, see the Windows Vista Help.
