How do I tell if Intel® Viiv™ Software is installed?

You can verify that the Intel® Viiv™ software is installed through the Windows* Media Center. The software is located under different Media Center options depending on what version of Windows you are running. Select the appropriate operating system version for steps on verifying if the software is installed:



Intel® Viiv™ Software version 1.5.x Installed on Windows XP
In Windows XP, verify that the Intel Viiv software is installed by completing the following steps from your Intel® Viiv™ technology-based PC.
  1. Select Start > Media Center > More Programs.
  2. If you see the Intel Viiv technology logo, the software is installed. Click the logo to start using the software.

 




Intel Viiv Software version 1.6.x and 1.7.x Installed on Windows Vista
In Windows Vista, verify that the Intel Viiv software is installed by completing the following steps from your Intel Viiv technology-based PC.

  1. Select Start > Media Center > Online Media > program library.
  2. If you see the Intel Viiv technology logo, the software is installed. Click the logo to start using the software.
