Intel® PROSet/Wireless software versions 10.x and later support single signon to a Novell* network using a pre-logon profile. This new feature is only supported when using Novell Client* version 4.90 Support Pack 2 for Microsoft* Windows* 2000/XP. Other versions of the Novell Client are not supported by Intel PROSet/Wireless software.

When using the Single Sign On feature with the Novell Client for Microsoft Windows*:

1. Ensure that the Novell Client for Microsoft Windows 2000/XP is version 4.90 Support Pack 2 (SP2). Other versions of the client are not supported. 
2. Verify that the Use pre-logon feature for wireless networks is selected on the Novell Client for Microsoft Windows 2000/XP login screen. The Use pre-logon feature for wireless networks feature is found on the Novell Client for Microsoft Windows 2000/XP Wireless tab.

When configuring the pre-logon profile, the Use windows logon option for user credentials will authenticate to the Wireless LAN using the user name and password entered on the Novell Client for Microsoft Windows login screen.
